Massachusetts High School Basketball - North Middlesex Regional nips Groton-Dunstable
February 10, 2023: Townsend, MA 01469 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) and the visiting Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), saw North Middlesex Regional's basketball squad hold off Groton-Dunstable by a count of 61-58.
With the victory, North Middlesex Regional upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Patriots host Marlborough (Marlborough, MA) to play the Panthers in a Midland-Wachusett B challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Marlborough won 57-56 in their recent non-league battle against South (Worcester, MA)
The Crusaders (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Westborough (Westborough, MA). The Rangers come into the Midland-Wachusett B battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Westborough was nudged by Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA), 76-44, in a league battle.
