Oklahoma High School Basketball - Heavener knocked off by Stigler
February 10, 2023: Stigler, OK 74462 The Stigler Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Heavener Wolves to 34 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilburton for a Black Diamond contest on Monday, February 13. Stigler will meet a Diggers team coming off a 61-45 non-league loss to Howe (Howe, OK). The Diggers record now stands at 0-9.
The Wolves (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pocola (Pocola, OK). The Indians enter the Black Diamond contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Pocola ran past Oklahoma Christian Academy (Edmond, OK), 73-67, in a league contest.
