The Trinity Shamrocks basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Lafayette Generals to 41 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collins for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Trinity will battle a Titans team coming off a 65-43 non-league win over St. Xavier (Louisville, KY). The Titans record now stands at 20-3.

The Generals (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record.
