North Carolina High School Basketball - Lejeune thwarts Southside
February 10, 2023: Chocowinity, NC 27817 The Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) basketball knocked off the host Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), 65-46 in Friday's league test.
The Devil Pups (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Jones (Trenton, NC). The Trojans go into the 1A/2A Conference 3 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Jones notched a victory over Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 54-50, in a league test.
The Seahawks now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Northside - Pinetown for a 1A/2A Conference 3 test on Tuesday, February 14. Southside will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 78-27 league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-17.
