Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Luverne Cardinals (Luverne, MN), 111-97 in a league bout.

With the win, Windom upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Eagles host Pipestone (Pipestone, MN) to play the Arrows in a AA Section 3 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Pipestone won 63-53 in their recent league challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Adrian Dragons (Adrian, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Luverne will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
