Massachusetts High School Basketball - Taconic thwarts Minnechaug Regional
February 10, 2023: Wilbraham, MA 01095 The Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) basketball knocked off the host Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA), 67-53 in Friday's league test.
The Braves (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Westfield (Westfield, MA). The Bombers go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Westfield went down by Agawam (Agawam, MA), 68-50, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Longmeadow for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Minnechaug Regional will meet a Spartans team coming off a 84-31 league loss to Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-11.
