The Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) basketball nipped the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI), 54-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Rockets go into the Skyline test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Rapid River was tipped by Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI), 61-58, in a non-league test.

The Jets now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Dickinson for a Central Upper Peninsula test on Tuesday, February 14. North Central will encounter a Nordics squad coming off a 62-40 non-league win over Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Nordics record now stands at 4-10.
