New York High School Basketball - Stockbridge Valley holds off Otselic Valley
February 10, 2023: South Otselic, NY 13155 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Stockbridge Valley Indians (Munnsville, NY) and the host Otselic Valley Vikings (South Otselic, NY), saw Stockbridge Valley's basketball squad hold off Otselic Valley by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Stockbridge Valley improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Oriskany (Oriskany, NY) to confront the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Oriskany lost 74-39 in their recent league challenge against West Canada Valley (Newport, NY)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Madison Central Blue Devils (Madison, NY) in a Section 3 Central Counties challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Otselic Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 78-44 league win over Brookfield Central (Brookfield, NY).
