The Wahama White Falcons basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Wirt County Tigers to 34 in the White Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The White Falcons now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Wahama will battle a Tide team coming off a 58-39 non-league win over Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV). The Tide record now stands at 10-8.

The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV). The Wildcat enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Wood County Christian was routed by Beallsville (Beallsville, OH), 39-21, in a non-league contest.
