Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 40-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bel Air upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign.

Next up, the Knights play the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Hanks will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Scorpions come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 65-18 league loss to Parkland (El Paso, TX).
