February 10, 2023: Wamego, KS 66547 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) and the visiting Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), saw Wamego's basketball squad wallop Abilene by a tally of 74-25.
With the victory, Wamego improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Clay Center won 47-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Marysville (Marysville, KS)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Hays Indians (Hays, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 55-38 non-league loss to Liberal (Liberal, KS).
