The Windham Whippets basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Griswold Wolverines to 41 in the Whippets league victory on Friday.

The Whippets now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ledyard for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Windham will battle a Colonels team coming off a 50-46 league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 11-8.

The Wolverines (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was defeated by Putnam (Putnam, CT), 46-43, in a league contest.
