South Dakota High School Basketball - Redfield tops Groton
February 10, 2023: Groton, SD 57445 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) and the host Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), saw Redfield's basketball squad knock off Groton by a tally of 43-34.
With the victory, Redfield improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Pheasants host Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Northwestern Area won 63-45 in their recent non-league challenge against North Central (Eureka, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Groton will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD).
