Colorado High School Basketball - Gunnison tops Meeker
February 10, 2023: Gunnison, CO 81230 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) and the visiting Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO), saw Gunnison's basketball squad knock off Meeker by a count of 46-32.
With the victory, Gunnison upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO) to play the Rams in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Roaring Fork lost 58-31 in their recent league challenge against Olathe (Olathe, CO)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Meeker will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 42-37 league loss to Grand Valley (Parachute, CO).
