New Mexico High School Basketball - Tatum overwhelms Jal
February 10, 2023: Tatum, NM 88267 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) and the visiting Jal Panthers (Jal, NM), saw Tatum's basketball squad wallop Jal by a count of 69-32.
With the victory, Tatum upgrades its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Gateway Christian won 43-18 in their recent league challenge against Elida (Elida, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Jal will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 56-34 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM).
