Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), 62-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Chargers host Hemlock (Hemlock, MI) to clash with the Huskies in a Tri-Valley - West I bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Hemlock won 72-53 in their recent league bout against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI)

Next up, the Sharks clash with the Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. St. Louis will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 63-23 league loss to Grant (Grant, MI).
