Ohio High School Basketball - Chardon holds off Kirtland
February 10, 2024: Chardon, OH 44024 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) and the visiting Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), saw Chardon's basketball squad hold off Kirtland by a tally of 90-88.
With the victory, Chardon improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to confront the Bombers in a Western Reserve challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bombers come into the challenge with a record of 2-18. Kenston lost 72-45 in their recent league challenge against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Harvey Red Raiders (Painesville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Kirtland will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 83-76 league win over Madison (Madison, OH).
