February 10, 2024: Corsica, SD 57328 The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars basketball team (Corsica, SD), was nudged 55-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD)
The Fighting Cougars now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, February 13. McCook Central/Montrose will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-11.
The Jaguars (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ethan (Ethan, SD). The Rustlers come into the non-league battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Ethan edged Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 61-43, in a non-league battle.
