West Virginia High School Basketball - Philip Barbour fells Lewis County
February 10, 2024: Weston, WV 26452 Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball team prevail over the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 69-50 in a league match.
In their next game, the Colts meet the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Monday, February 12. Philip Barbour will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Bees enter the match with a 12-5 record after their 61-49 non-league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV).
With the defeat, Lewis County moves to 12-8 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to meet the Indians in a Big Ten match on Saturday, February 17. The Indians enter the match with a record of 13-2.
