Alaska High School Basketball - Service succumbs to Monroe Catholic
February 10, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99507 The Monroe Catholic Rams topped the host Service Cougars basketball team by a final score of 43-33 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Rams face the Hutchison Hawks (Fairbanks, AK) in a 3A Aurora game, on Monday, February 12. Monroe Catholic will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 1-8 record after their 62-20 non-league loss to Nunamiut (Anaktuvik Pass, AK).
With the defeat, Service moves to 8-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to face the Lynx in a 4A Cook Inlet game on Monday, February 12.
