Alaska High School Basketball - Bartlett holds off Service
February 5, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99506 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), saw Bartlett's basketball squad hold off Service by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, Bartlett improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. West Anchorage won 42-35 in their recent league challenge against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Service will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 42-35 league loss to West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
