February 10, 2025: Shelby, OH 44875 Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH), 68-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Shelby upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Whippets host Pleasant (Marion, OH) to face the Spartans in a Mid-Ohio - Red match on Thursday, February 13. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 8-12. Pleasant won 59-43 in their recent non-league match against Kenton (Kenton, OH)
The Arrows now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a Ohio Cardinal battle on Friday, February 14. Ashland will meet a Rams squad coming off a 56-45 league loss to New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-16.
