In Monday's league test, the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), by a final score of 89-26.

Next, the Vikings clash with the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a Blue Ridge test, on Tuesday, February 11. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 20-1 season record. The Terriers come into the test with a 10-11 record after their 76-72 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
