Iowa High School Basketball - Wapsie Valley bested by Grundy Center

February 10, 2025: Grundy Center, IA 50638

Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 47-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Grundy Center advances its record to 14-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Alburnett (Alburnett, IA) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 7-12.

The Warriors now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host MFL MarMac for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Wapsie Valley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 38-28 league loss to Kee (Lansing, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-8.
