Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover crushes Prince George
February 10, 2025: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 The Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 70-37 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Armstrong for a Capital bout on Tuesday, February 11. Hanover will play a Wildcats team coming off a 57-49 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Prince George falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Warriors in a Central bout on Thursday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Matoaca lost 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)
