In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride basketball team scored a close 52-51 win over the Corvian Community Cardinals.

The Pride (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Lincoln Charter got by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 62-48, in a league match.

The Cardinals now own a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A match on Friday, February 13. Corvian Community will face a Bears squad coming off a 64-31 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-15.
