With the victory, Van Horn improves its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Sierra Blanca (Sierra Blanca, TX) to confront the Vaqueros in a 1A Region II District 9 challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Indians confront the Marfa Shorthorns (Marfa, TX) in a 1A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Fort Davis will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record.
