In Friday's league match, the host Illini Central Cougars basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a Tomahawk match, on Tuesday, February 15. Illini Central will attempt to move on its 12-16 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 12-14 record after their 59-53 league loss to ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL).
