Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) and the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), saw Lowry's basketball squad overcome Spring Creek by a tally of 60-48.

With the victory, Lowry improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Buckaroos travel to Elko (Elko, NV) to confront the Indians in a 3A Northern - East challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 20-2. Elko won 67-21 in their recent league challenge against Churchill County (Fallon, NV)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Monday, February 14. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 67-21 league loss to Elko (Elko, NV).
