Illinois High School Basketball - Decatur Lutheran tops Okaw Valley
February 11, 2022: Decatur, IL 62526 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL), saw Decatur Lutheran's basketball squad knock off Okaw Valley by a count of 57-47.
With the victory, Decatur Lutheran upgrades its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL) to play the Bombers in a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Monday, February 14. The Bombers come into the challenge with a record of 6-17. Argenta-Oreana lost 82-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie challenge, on Monday, February 14. Okaw Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record. The Purple Riders come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 48-45 league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL).
