The Frontenac Raiders basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Baxter Springs Lions to 22 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Girard for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee contest on Tuesday, February 15. Frontenac will meet a Trojans team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 13-3.

The Lions (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Galena was routed by St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS), 56-25, in a league contest.
