February 11, 2022: Manteo, NC 27954

Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), 54-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Manteo upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Redskins host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to play the Aces in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Aces go into the bout with a record of 7-16. Holmes lost 60-52 in their recent league bout against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)

Next up, the Bruins play the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Camden County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 58-30 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC).
