Kansas High School Basketball - Marysville knocked off by Clay Center
February 11, 2022: Clay Center, KS 67432 The Clay Center Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Marysville Bulldogs to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wamego for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 15. Clay Center will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Abilene (Abilene, KS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 15-1.
The Bulldogs (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Centralia (Centralia, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 15-0 record. In their last contest, Centralia ran past Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS), 33-29, in a non-league contest.
