The Bauxite Miners basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Lonoke Jackrabbits to 45 in the Miners league triumph on Saturday.

The Miners now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robinson for a 4A Region 5 contest on Wednesday, February 15. Bauxite will battle a Senators team coming off a 68-56 league win over Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Senators record now stands at 17-7.

The Jackrabbits (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Bruins enter the 4A Region 5 contest with a 6-12 record.
