Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) and the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), saw Fremont's basketball squad hold off Pius X by a tally of 65-60.

With the victory, Fremont improves its record to 5-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to confront the Bearcats in a A District TBD challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Kearney won 59-27 in their recent league challenge against Columbus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Thunderbolts confront the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 50-48 league win over Omaha North (Omaha, NE).
