Nebraska High School Basketball - North Star holds off Pius X
February 3, 2023: Lincoln, NE 68510 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE) and the host Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), saw North Star's basketball squad hold off Pius X by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, North Star improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Navigators travel to Gretna (Gretna, NE) to confront the Dragons in a A District TBD challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Gretna won 57-39 in their recent league challenge against Bryan (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Thunderbolts confront the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 18-0 record after their 70-42 league win over Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE).
