The Pius X Thunderbolts basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Millard South Patriots to 37 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norfolk for a A District TBD contest on Tuesday, January 17. Pius X will meet a Panthers team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.

The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats enter the A District TBD contest with a 3-9 record.
