Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard South can't hold off Lincoln Southwest

The Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Millard South Patriots to 45 in the Silver Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Silver Hawks now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millard North for a A District TBD contest on Tuesday, February 14. Lincoln Southwest will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-51 league win over Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-3.

The Patriots (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Junior Jays enter the A District TBD contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Creighton Prep nudged Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
