Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard North nips Lincoln Southwest

December 3, 2022: Omaha, NE 68154

Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 81-74 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Millard North upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to play the Knights in a A District TBD bout on Friday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lincoln Southeast won 67-59 in their recent non-league bout against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Silver Hawks play the Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Friday, December 9. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Islanders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-39 league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE).
