Minnesota High School Basketball - Highland Park tops Simley
February 11, 2023: St. Paul, MN 55116 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) and the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), saw Highland Park's basketball squad knock off Simley by a tally of 69-61.
With the victory, Highland Park improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Scots host Harding (St. Paul, MN) to play the Knights in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Harding lost 79-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson (St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Spartans play the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Simley will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 99-43 league loss to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
