Ohio High School Basketball - Hopewell-Loudon crushes Riverdale
February 11, 2023: Bascom, OH 44809 Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 62-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopewell-Loudon upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Chieftains host St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Friday, February 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-15. St. Mary Central Catholic won 54-30 in their recent league bout against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Bucyrus Redmen (Bucyrus, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Redmen go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 51-44 league win over Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH).
