February 3, 2023: New Riegel, OH 44853 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) and the host New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), saw Hopewell-Loudon's basketball squad overcome New Riegel by a tally of 63-46.
With the victory, Hopewell-Loudon improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Fostoria (Fostoria, OH) to confront the Redmen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Fostoria lost 57-56 in their recent league challenge against Eastwood (Pemberville, OH)
Next up, the Blue Jackets confront the Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. New Riegel will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 53-30 non-league loss to Woodmore (Elmore, OH).
