Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnetonka nudges Shakopee
February 11, 2023: Shakopee, MN 55379 Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), 69-63 in a league bout.
With the win, Minnetonka upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Skippers travel to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Hopkins lost 89-61 in their recent league bout against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
Next up, the Sabers clash with the Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
