Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central thwarted by Valley

The Weld Central Rebels basketball team (Keenesburg, CO), was toppled 45-30 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO)

The Vikings now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Resurrection Christian for a 4A Patriot battle on Wednesday, February 15. Valley will confront a Cougars team coming off a 56-48 league loss to Berthoud (Berthoud, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 11-10.

The Rebels (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO). The Bluedevils come into the non-league battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Fort Lupton was toppled by DSST: College View (Denver, CO), 45-18, in a non-league battle.
