Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Staples can't get by Trumbull
February 11, 2023: Westport, CT 06880 Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) fans left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 4-3 in a league match.
The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights enter the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Wreckers clash with the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) in a FCIAC match, on Friday, February 17. Staples will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record.
