February 11, 2025: Anna, IL 62906 Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL), 77-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Anna-Jonesboro advances its record to 11-15 on the year. The Wildcats host DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL) to meet the Indians in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi match on Friday, February 14. The Indians enter the match with a record of 11-15. DuQuoin lost 54-40 in their recent league match against Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL)
The Pilots now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league match on Friday, February 14.
