Louisiana High School Basketball - South Lafourche triumphant over Assumption
February 11, 2025: Galliano, LA 70354 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) and the visiting Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA), observed South Lafourche's basketball team overwhelm Assumption by a score of 76-53.
The Tarpons (21-10) will now prepare for their challenge against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 19-23 record. In their last challenge, East St. John was routed by Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 68-58, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 8-28 season record.
