Louisiana High School Basketball - Ascension Catholic can't hold off Assumption
February 1, 2025: Napoleonville, LA 70390 Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), 55-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Assumption upgrades its record to 6-24 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Patterson (Patterson, LA) to face the Lumberjacks in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a record of 8-20.
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Iberville for a 1A District 8 match on Tuesday, February 4.
