Illinois High School Basketball - Auburn triumphant over New Berlin
February 11, 2025: New Berlin, IL 62670 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) and the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), observed Auburn's basketball team overwhelm New Berlin by a score of 63-23.
The Trojans (25-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans come into the Sangamo challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Maroa-Forsyth was routed by Williamsville (Williamsville, IL), 54-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pretzels encounter the Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Friday, February 14. New Berlin will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 66-34 league win over Athens (Athens, IL).
