Arkansas High School Basketball - Dover triumphant over Baptist Prep
February 11, 2025: Dover, AR 72837 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dover Pirates (Dover, AR) and the visiting Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR), observed Dover's basketball team overwhelm Baptist Prep by a score of 80-52.
The Pirates (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Atkins (Atkins, AR). The Red Devils come into the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Atkins was routed by Mayflower (Mayflower, AR), 74-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 14. Baptist Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 52-28 league loss to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR).
